Hello Bloggy! It is Tuesday after the fourth of july! This past weekend I went back to Btown with Troy and spent the weekend with him and his family. We really didn't do too much except that we went to the fourth of july parade which was so cute and also I saw eclipse (for the second time lol)

I feel like I'm not an obsessed twilight girl, and I'll deny it to my grave but I secretly really like it. I mean okay, the writing is a little shoddy in the books and the movie has sort of bad acting in it but the story is something that obviously touches a lot of people. I mean heres a glorious vampire who is strong and beautiful and pretty perfect and he loves this ordinary awkward girl so much that he would die for her. (I hate to do it but its sort of like how we are undeserving of Gods love but he sent Jesus to die for us and constantly pursue us) And okay yeah its creepy how much edward loves her but really, I'm not the only one here who really likes the story. And yeah Harry Potter is better written and deeper and more intelligent but the Twilight books just hit you in your stomach and make you wish that you had that kind of love when you get out of the theater. Anyways moving on lol, I also got to play some frisbee on Sunday night which was really fun and I caught a bunch of throws and I completed some passes and I ran around like a crazy girl because I was so excited. (Here's a little insight about me: Kelly is to athletic as pigs are to flying). Brings you back to comparisons in english doesn't it? Anyway needless to say I was super excited. Since I got back to Austin I've been running around going to class and studying biology. Secretly deep down I like to study for biology, which is nerdy yes, but I sit there sometimes and I'm like, chemistry IS relevant! Anyway I was thinking that I wish I could write something deep and poignant. I know most of my babble on bloggy is kind of simple but I actually do have thoughts running through my mind almost constantly, some of which are not just superficial. Sometimes I ask troy what he's thinking about and he's like, literally nothing. I'm generally pretty jealous of this answer because I don't usually get a break from my thoughts and when I do I get super excited and I'm like I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT NOTHING. Because it's actually pretty freeing. And then sometimes I start thinking about thinking which is called metacognition and it gets crazy in there! One of my biggest constant questions is why I am me, and why someone else is them. I am baffled at the thought that I can talk inside my head, and think things and wonder and create. Sure you can chalk it all up to cognition and specific firings of neurons, but I feel like it goes much deeper than that. Like here I am, laying in my bed at night tick tick ticking away and I look around me and I'm nobody else. Like who am I to be myself, you know? That's kind of presumptuous don't you think? And how I will never know what it's like to be anyone else but myself. It's probably rather selfish to ponder all this "me" stuff but whoa! Haha this probably doesn't make sense to anyone else because I can't really seem to get my words around this notion, but ohhh well bloggy I'm sure you don't really want to hear about it anyway! Perhaps Bloggy, I will one day surprise you with a philosophical post, won't that be exciting!

In order to further procrastination just a little bit: here is a poem I wrote!

BLOGGY I'VE MISSED YOU! I promise promise that I haven't been neglecting you. Here's what happened. A few days I ago I made this huuuge long post about my last week and half and then my internet pooped out before I published it, so I lost everything! Needless to say I was quite discouraged and so I haven't updated since the incident.

Okay but heres the highlights at least: Last week Anna came by and we did Kat's photoshoot. It was suuuuper fun and cute and then we went to Sonic and that was definitely one of the highlights of my week.
Then I went to Lake Buchanan last weekend and that was also really fun and I happened to wake up at the most beautiful sunrise. I was literally sitting there in my head thinking, this can't possibly be more beautiful. The water was totally undisturbed like butter and everything was bathed in a pinky soft organgy glow from the sun so that not only was the sun totally beautiful (I almost went blind looking at it) but everything that the sun touched was made beautiful by it. Which reminds me of the CS Lewis quote that I can't quite remember right now.

Anyway it was so beautiful that even when a skunk came by to go back to the woods (it was like 6:15 mind you) It was bathed in that beautiful golden light and I was like, how is that skunk so beautiful!!! Anyway it was sort of like God saying, "here you go kelly, look what I can do it's all for you this morning!" (because it was basically a miracle that I woke up to see it) I was definitely feeling very transcendent. Also I took some photos but no matter how much photoshop I do to them I can't make them half as beautiful as it really was!

This week was normal as usual except that I am done done done with history one. I took the last test hooray! And I also took a Bio test this week. This morning I went to the dentist! And at first I went to the wrong dentist and they were very disgruntled even when they thought I was a customer so I'm glad I went to the wrong one, and everyone at my real dentist place was really nice to me and even though I hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time nobody yelled at me and it was a very pleasant experience!

It's fourth of july this weekend so I hope I get some cuuute photos. Anyway I love you bloggy and I promise I haven't been neglecting you! For some reason blogger isn't letting me upload my photoshoot with kat or my sunrise pictures (maybe they are too big of files? but here is an update on my icons anyway!

Starfish, starfish, wonder what you are fish

Helloooo bloggy, it is saturday. On Thursday I basically played all day and then Katie came to SRD to eat with me and casey and troy. I showed her the room that she's going to be living in only that probably wasn't a good idea because it was dusty, constructiony and there were flower stickers on the drawers.

On Friday I basically didn't do anything until 9 o clock when I realized I had better get my little fanny to work. I was up until 4 o clock this morning studying dumb biology and then I woke up at 8 and headed out the door, only to find that the trick step at SRD was going to get me (again).

The trick step at SRD is the bottom stair (thank goodness it's at the bottom!) going out to the maintenance entrance (where you have to go if it's between certain hours during the night or morning). Earlier this year I was innocently carrying my laundry down there and the trick step got me. I proceeded to fall directly on my face, with a small audience behind me while my clothes rained everywhere. With a rather large bruise and a " yeah that step gets me too" from the girl behind me, I got up, dusted off my pride, and went to do laundry. This time I was not so fortunate.

I was innocently stepping down those stairs and I was like, oh yeah, I'm on the last stair, I better take a biiggg step to land on the floor. WRONG. I was on the second to last stair and I caught the real last stair and fell directly on my ankle. I crumpled to the floor and wanted to die for a few minutes (this is the same ankle that was jusssst alllmost healed from spring break, and now i'm weak ankle girl).

I laid there for a while and then decided that I had to get to my test and take it so I was able to hobble out to the bus and hobble to ACC. Unfortunately while I was taking my 24 page, 100 multiple choice, 3 page essay, two and a half hour test, my ankle proceeded to swell up to golf ball size. I was forced to call my sister to come get me because I couldn't make it to the bus stop :( she did though and I'm glad because we got schlotszkys and she hung out with me for a little bit :)

My ankle is definitely bigger than it was during spring break but I sprained a different part of it (thanks to my handy dandy new tennis shoes) and so I can at least put a little bit of weight on my foot right off the bat. Haha this whole post is about my sprained ankle how sad. Anyway this will be a youtube video post because i've been seeing a lot of funny ones lately!

Hello Bloggy it is Wednesday night! Last Friday I went to Belton and had a good weekend. I did some homework, went wakeboarding, went to church, got my hair a teensy bit highlighted, went out to my dads, got my car washed, saw some baby owls and spent some time with my silliest best friend troy. Me and Troy also tried to do flips and tricks in his backyard. I can flip over his back and over his arms! Unfortunately I hit his knee really hard with my head (three days later it's still sensitive) and I think I threw out his back. Oh well when we recover I want to keep trying! haha most definitely me!
On Monday Kelly had orientation so me and the naul girls (becca tammy and kelly) went to hyde park to eat dinner, it was fun and we laughed at some terrible proposal stories that ended up with the girl dying. When I say that it sounds morbid and not funny at all but if you were there you would have been laughing so hard. Yesterday I went to academy with Troy and bought the best pair of tennis shoes ever. They were on sale (30 dollars) and they are nike plus. They are so cooshy and wonderful that I wore them to class today just so I could walk on fluffy cloud shoes. This isn't exactly what they look like, they are a different color!
Then I spent most of the day with Troy and then went and reluctantly did a bunch of my homework. This morning I got up early (early being like 9 which is sad but when your bedtime is three, nine is really early!) And I went to ACC and studied for about an hour for my history test. I did good on it this time so noooo worries. Then I went to Biology where we had lecture and then a lab. We bet on how many mL of the solution it would take to get the PH of buffered and unbuffered sucrose either above 11 or below 3 and I won once! Then I went to get my sissies present and then just relaxed around here and skyped with Troy. I love skype and I'm trying to get more people to talk to me on it because I love it so much. Then me and casey and troy and christina went to hyde park (the second time in three days) for Christina's birthday. It was maybe better the second time lol. Then we went to eat gelato (spelling?) and we went back to her house. My fish Jamaal is huuuge and Christina has been taking such good care of him. I miss him and I can't wait for him to come back with me to my apartment in August. We sort of just talked about elementary school (which we all have in common) and Christina opened her present which she had better blog about because it is slightly victorian and goes with her decor very nicely. Anyways Christina is 25 years old today and still the best sister in the world. I know that she would drop everything if I ever needed her and she's always good for a laugh (even if it's at her expense). She is the cutest bestest sister in the world and I hope that she lives to be 100000! Jesus gave me the biggest present by making her my older sister. Me and Christina at Easter 2010

So now I am just sitting here and blogging. I should be doing biology seeing as how I'm going to take a pretty tough test on Friday but I'm thinking I'll just watch Angry Beavers on netflix and try to guilt more people into skyping with me.

Random Memory: I decided that maybe I will start writing down my obscure memories from the past so I don't forget them. I can distinctly remember going through a little haunted house in a big gym looking place. I remember being scared to death of it and then at the end there was this clown and somebody gave me to the clown, or maybe he found me crying and took me out of the haunted house or something. Somehow I ended up in this clowns arms and I was thinking, this is worse than the haunted house, and I just cried and cried and cried lol. I don't know how long ago this was and it was so weird. I'm pretty sure that clown was just watching out for me but I was so sure he was going to scare me.

I'm sorry for neglecting you bloggy but I have been so busy! It's thursday morning right now! On Saturday I went to Katies graduation party to be "official picture taker." It was fun though, I love graduations because everyone sort of dresses up and celebrates and such. Then I actually went to the pflugerville graduation which was a lot shorter than mine was. Whatever they did should be taught and learned by Belton. Then on Sunday I went to church and there were only like 11 people there instead of 40 or 50 because it's summer now. Then I went back and did some homework until we went to Justins graduation party at like 4. That one was fun too and I didn't take pictures so I just sat around blowing bubbles and playing games. On Monday Anna came to eat lunch with me because she had to pick up her transcript from UT. It was good and we had spaghetti which is double good. Then she dropped me off at ACC so I didn't have to ride the city bus (triple good) and I went to Bio. I'm starting to really like biology because our classes and labs are always shorter than they're supposed to be and the material is sort of simple and interesting. We're going over some chemistry basics that I definitely missed last semester in chemistry so it's sort of good. Then I came back and studied most of the day and then I worked out! I'm not really a work out kind of girl but the gym is soooo nice and I'm usually the only girl down there so I just use like every piece of equipment and do ten of them. On a side note, every time I spell equipment I spell it equiptment. I think there should be a T in there most definitely. On Tuesday I studied all day too and worked out again. My mom came and ate lunch with me! It was fun and I got to show her my new room and she told me about her plans for Europe this week. Thennn I studied. You may ask, Kelly, why are you studying all the time, it's summer! Well I will tell you: ACC history. It's basically gonna kill me. It takes like 2 and a half to 3 hours to finish each chapter, there are four chapters, and the tests are every 6 days. On wednesday I went to ACC early and took the test, I got an 80 which is two away from failing and I studied my butt off all week. Like hello, this is a community college, lighten up! Oh well though two tests down, three to go. Also on wednesday I lost my waterbottle :( I'm going to buy a new one though because I definitely can't live without my water bottle. But it made a weird sucky noise every time I drank out of it because of all the use it was getting so maybe it was time for a new one anyway. I went to the ACC store to get me some lab goggles and they look sooo good on me haha. Then I went to Bio and the bio lab. I sort of like the labs even. They're tedious and complicated but the time passes quickly because at least we're doing something. Plus I like my lab partners. After that me and Troy went to the Giddings state baseball game which was in the UT baseball stadium. I did a crazy kitty dance in the car on the way over there and cried because I was laughing so hard. Also I was driving so maybe it wasn't the best idea. The baseball game was fun and Anna told me all about everyone because she's from giddings and everyone knows everyone and their business. Throughout this whole week God has been so faithful to me. I believe that he is love and he is joy and he is laughter. Also I think he gets a kick out of us and sometimes he's up there and he has to tell stories about us like, "hey [insert angel here] you will not believe what kelly just did, this is gonna eat your lunch" haha (: Anyways that is all I've been thinking about lately!

So Bloggy I can't talk long seeing as how I have a mountain of homework I was supposed to get done today and it's already 11. On Thursday I studied all day for my history test and then I took it. They told me I got a 40 and I was like..I'm thinking you should maybe check again. Turned out they had the wrong key and I got a 96 instead lol. That was definitely scary though! I also road the bus again and some old guy told me that he loved my rainboots! You never know what your going to get on the city bus. But hey a compliment on my rainboots is fine by me. Also me and Casey and Troy went running. It was the first time I had run since I sprained my ankle during spring break. It was really fun and refreshing but my ankle sure hurt afterwards! Just for the record I listened to my feet and stopped running when they hurt lol.
Today I woke up kind of late and finished my laundry and also finished color coding my closet. Okay so I lost one of my shirts, and there's a shirt hanging in the room with the sink down the hall that's the exact same kind and size of mine. Only I don't know if it's mine or not lol. Actually saying it now it seems like it's probably my shirt so maybe I'll go down and get it in a second! But then if it's someone else's I don't want to steal it! But I just lost it today so I'm pretty sure it dropped out of my laundry basket lol. Anyways other than that my cookiepie boyfriend came and ate lunch with me, rotini and shrimp it was very delicious! Then we just hung out and I finished hanging up my clothes and such things as that. Then I tried to get my work done at his house (fail) and then we ate subway and troy ate a foot and a half of sub lol. Theennnn we watched chopped and the spelling Bee where we tried to spell it before the smart kids (fail again). And then me Casey Tara and Troy went to Target and I couldn't help buying the cuuuuuutest dress I have ever seen, and also printer ink. Then we went to best buy because Casey wants a camera real bad. So that's all I just had to update because I'm super procrastinating and my pile of homework keeps getting bigger.
